a brainless thinker

Last Thursday I got together with my band mates to practice few songs of a set list we never played before. When you have a band you must know that all your friends that supported the band, went to all those gigs that even you didn’t want to be there, they will ask you to play in their weddings and fair enough, you can’t deny the treat under the risk to have to band reputation destroyed forever. Happens that the brides they have some special songs (and grooms sometimes) that were part of the couple story that must be played at the party. This one we played yesterday, the bride wanted EASY, a song we never played before, specially me. We had to play it together at least once before we went on stage. During the practicing session, one of the guys had the idea to turn on the iphone recording app (the one that comes built-in) and the result is here, for you guys to appreciate how things can sound terrible at the first time you’re playing a song.

I play bass and if anyone of you get to listen to one note that I played let me know. As much as I tried here, I fear the recording app is not much fanatic about bass players and their low frequency notes.
